Kawasan Canyoneering

Kawasan Falls in nearby Badian is 45 minutes by motorbike from Moalboal — but it's the canyoneering adventure rather than the waterfall itself that draws people. Tour groups start at the top of the canyon and descend through pools, slides, and cliff jumps over 3-4 hours, finishing at the main waterfall.
The route involves jumping from rocks (3-12 meters depending on which platforms you choose), sliding down water-smoothed channels, and swimming through cold pools. Safety gear (helmets, life jackets, water shoes) is provided. Guides are mandatory.
Tour cost is PHP 1,500-2,500 per person including transport from Moalboal, gear, guide, and lunch.
It's the most adventurous half-day activity in the area. Not for everyone — if you're nervous about jumping off cliffs into water you can't see clearly through, the slower waterfall visit at Kawasan's main entrance is a better option.
