Sabang is the diving hub of Puerto Galera — a small beach community packed with dive shops, dive resorts, and divers from around the world. The Verde Island Passage running through here is one of the most biodiverse marine areas on Earth.
Dive sites within 20 minutes of Sabang include the Canyons (drift diving over canyon walls), Sinandigan Wall (sheer drop covered with sea fans), Hole in the Wall (swim-through cave with schools of fish), and Verde Island (full-day trip to the famous 'Pinnacle' dive site).
Dive prices are competitive — PHP 1,500-2,500 per dive depending on whether gear and transport are included.
Sabang nightlife is more adult-focused than White Beach — bars, sports bars, and a string of nightclubs. Travelers with families typically stay at White Beach.
