Hotels Philippines (hotels-philippines.com) provides travel guides and an interactive map of hotels across the Philippines. Our goal is to help travelers find the right place to stay for their trip without bouncing between five different booking sites.

How we make money

We are an affiliate website. This means we participate in affiliate programs with booking platforms. When you click on a hotel on our interactive maps and complete a booking on the resulting platform, we receive a small commission for the referral.

Our affiliate relationships are facilitated primarily through Stay22, a travel affiliate aggregator that connects us with major booking platforms including:

What this means for you

You pay nothing extra. The commission we earn comes from the booking platform's marketing budget, not from your wallet. The price displayed for any hotel is the same price you'd see if you visited Booking.com or Agoda directly. Sometimes our partners even offer member-exclusive discounts that we pass on to you.

Affiliate commissions are typically a small percentage of the booking total — usually 3% to 8% depending on the platform and property. We do not see your personal information, payment details, or booking specifics. Our partners only tell us that "someone from your site completed a booking."

Our editorial independence

This is the part most affiliate sites don't talk about, so let's be direct:

No hotel pays us to feature them or rank them higher. We do not accept sponsored placements, paid reviews, or "pay to be included" arrangements with individual properties. Every recommendation, every "best for" tag, every FAQ answer is editorial.

Commission rates are roughly the same across booking platforms (with minor differences), which means we have no incentive to push you toward a worse hotel just because it pays more. We win when you book a hotel you love and come back to book again.

What we don't do

Other ways the site might monetize in future

To be fully transparent about future plans:

• We may add a tour and activity booking affiliate (via providers like GetYourGuide or Klook) for things like island-hopping tours, with the same no-extra-cost policy.
• We may add travel insurance affiliate links from reputable providers — useful for travelers and earning a small referral fee.
• We may eventually offer premium destination guides as paid digital downloads for serious travelers. These would be clearly marked as paid products.

We will not start running display ads, pop-ups, or sponsored placements without updating this disclosure first.
