The name divers mention first. Guests single out the crew and the food. It's not the cheapest bed in Sabang, and it isn't trying to be.

The most polished address in Puerto Galera — a 4.5-star dive resort with a spa, sitting on the quieter Small La Laguna cove a short walk from Sabang. It's the pick if you want proper dive infrastructure without the rough edges of a backpacker dive lodge. Couples do well here, and you're close enough to Sabang for dinner but far enough to sleep.

Badladz has a loyal following for the simple reason that it does the basics properly — direct beach access, a solid dive operation, a beachfront restaurant people actually eat at, and a pool. It's the reliable mid-range option that keeps guests coming back rather than the flashiest. Good base if you want to mix diving, kayaking and doing nothing.

The recurring line in reviews is that it's quiet and comfortable, away from the noise of both White Beach and Sabang, yet still an easy trip to either. Ocean-view rooms, a decent pool and gym, and a well-regarded dive shop. Pick it if the nightlife is precisely what you're trying to escape — and accept that the restaurant menu isn't always fully available.
Best for peace
Set up the hill behind Sabang, this one trades beachfront for a pool, a rooftop terrace and views over the bay at a friendlier price. Guests praise the welcome even on late arrivals. The trade-off is in the name — it's a hill, so there's a climb (or a quick ride) down to the dive shops and the pier.
