Mines View Park
A panoramic mountain viewpoint.
Mines View Park sits on a ridge overlooking the abandoned gold and copper mines of Itogon and the Amburayan Valley. The viewpoint platform gives a 180-degree panorama of layered mountains stretching to the horizon.
The park itself is touristy — the lookout is surrounded by souvenir vendors, photo-op props (Ifugao costumes for rent, large carved wooden horses to pose with), and stalls selling local strawberry products and silver jewelry.
Most visitors stay 30-45 minutes — long enough to take photos at the viewpoint, walk the small park, and shop a bit. It's typically combined with a visit to Botanical Garden and the Mansion in a half-day "Baguio attractions" tour.
Go early (before 10 AM) for the clearest views — afternoon clouds often roll in and obscure the mountains. The drive up from Burnham is about 20 minutes by jeepney or taxi.
