Kawasan Falls Cebu turquoise blue pool with bamboo rafts surrounded by tropical jungle in Badian

Kawasan Falls in Badian (southern Cebu, 3 hours from the city) is the kind of waterfall that looks photoshopped — three tiers of milky-turquoise water cascading into pools you can swim in, set inside thick jungle.

The first tier is the largest and most accessible — a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. You can swim in the pool, take a wooden raft to sit directly under the falling water (PHP 300 per raft), or just hang out on the rocks.

The second and third tiers require a steeper hike (20-40 minutes) and have fewer people. The water gets cleaner the higher you go.

Canyoneering is the famous activity here — jumping into pools, sliding down natural rock formations, and floating downstream over multiple hours. Tours cost PHP 1,500-2,500 per person. It's adventure-sport intensity; don't book it if you don't swim well or are nervous about 5-meter jumps.
