Twin Lagoon
Two connected lagoons divided by a limestone wall.
Twin Lagoon is two separate lagoons connected by a small opening in the limestone wall between them. At low tide, you swim through the gap underwater (a 2-meter passage). At high tide, you can wade through standing.
The first lagoon is open to the sea and entered by boat. The second is fully enclosed by cliffs — quieter, smaller, and feels like a hidden room. Both have brackish water that creates a wavy visual effect when you swim through it (the freshwater and saltwater layers shimmer differently).
You can paddle into the second lagoon on a kayak (PHP 200 rental) or swim through the gap. Most tours allow 30-45 minutes here.
Twin Lagoon is often combined with Kayangan Lake on the same day tour. The pairing makes geological sense — they're 15 minutes apart by boat — but it means both can be crowded by midday. The earlier you go, the better.
