Bounty Beach
Malapascua's main beach and resort strip.
Bounty Beach is the front beach of Malapascua — a 1-kilometer strip of white sand on the southern coast where most of the dive resorts, restaurants, and beach bars cluster. The water is clear and shallow, and the beach faces sunset.
Compared to White Beach in Boracay or Bantayan's Sugar Beach, Bounty Beach is much smaller and much chillier in atmosphere. There's no jet ski rentals, no parasailing, no loud beach clubs — just dive resorts, a handful of restaurants, and bonfire-style evening drinking on the sand.
The beach is busiest from December to April (peak diving season) but never feels crowded the way Boracay does. Sunsets are reliably spectacular.
Most travelers spend morning diving, afternoons on the beach, and evenings drinking with other divers. It's a divers' island, not a beach holiday island.
