In Manila, Metro Manila
BGC Nightlife
Manila's modern dining and bar district.
Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is the newest, cleanest, most modern district in Metro Manila — built on a former military base in the 2000s and now home to the largest concentration of high-end restaurants, rooftop bars, and clubs in the country.
The Fort strip on 8th Avenue and High Street are the densest concentrations of bars and restaurants. Standouts include Salon de Ning at the Peninsula for cocktails, The Bowery for clubs, and The Palace Pool Club for upscale partying.
For food, Wildflour (bakery + brunch), Toyo Eatery (Filipino tasting menu, world-renowned), and Manam (modern Filipino) are the must-tries. Many of Manila's best chefs operate in BGC.
The whole area is walkable — uncommon in Metro Manila — which makes bar-hopping easy. Grab cars are abundant for the ride home. It's safe enough that solo travelers (including women) drink here regularly without issues.
