White Beach
Boracay's 4-kilometer crown jewel of powder-fine sand.
White Beach is the reason Boracay exists on every "best islands in the world" list. The sand is genuinely powder-fine — barefoot walking is part of the experience — and the water stays shallow enough for hundreds of meters that you can wade out without ever quite getting deep.
The beach is divided into three "Stations" laid out from north to south. Station 1 is the upscale end, where the sand is widest and the resorts are higher-end. Station 2 is the heart — D'Mall, the loudest restaurants, the most umbrellas, the highest concentration of hotels. Station 3 is the chiller southern end, more local, more budget-friendly, less crowded.
The best moments here aren't planned. Late afternoon swims when the harsh sun softens. The five-minute window when sunset turns the water gold. Walking the full length at 6 AM before the vendors set up — you'll have a stretch of one of the world's best beaches to yourself.
