Pescador Island
A small dive island with walls, caves, and big fish.
Pescador Island sits 20 minutes by boat from Panagsama Beach — a tiny rocky islet that's one of Moalboal's best dive sites. The island drops off into deep walls covered with soft coral, sponges, and home to schools of jack fish, tuna, and the occasional thresher shark.
The famous Cathedral Cave dive site is a swim-through tunnel where shafts of sunlight cut through the water from above. Snorkelers can see the walls and shallower coral, but divers get the full experience.
Day trips from Moalboal combine Pescador Island with the sardine run and turtle snorkeling at nearby Tongo Point. Half-day tours run PHP 1,200-2,000 per person.
