Aninuan Beach

Aninuan Beach is the bay immediately west of White Beach — accessible by a 10-minute tricycle ride or a 20-minute beach walk at low tide. The atmosphere is dramatically different: quieter, more upscale, with boutique resorts rather than backpacker hostels.

The sand here is finer and the beach feels wider because of fewer crowds. Several mid-range to upscale resorts have direct beach access. The shallow water and lack of boats makes it ideal for kids learning to swim.

There's a small string of restaurants and a few bars, but the focus is on quiet relaxation rather than nightlife. Sunset views are excellent — the beach faces west.

For travelers who want Puerto Galera's location and convenience but find White Beach too busy, Aninuan is the answer.
