Naked Island
A tiny sandbar with no trees, no shade, no buildings.
Naked Island earns its name — it's a 200-meter-long sandbar with literally nothing on it. No trees, no shade, no buildings, no vendors. Just white sand and 360-degree views of the ocean.
It's the headline stop on the standard Siargao 3-island tour, which also visits Daku Island (large, has restaurants, where lunch is served) and Guyam Island (small, has palm trees and one restaurant).
The 3-island tour costs PHP 1,500-2,500 per person depending on group size and operator. Boats leave from General Luna around 9 AM and return by 3 PM. Bring serious sunscreen — Naked Island has zero shade and the reflection from white sand and water doubles the sun exposure.
The water around Naked Island is shallow and turquoise for hundreds of meters, making it great for snorkeling and just standing in waist-deep water with a beer.
